Walter Miale, who is 67, has been the director of the Green World Center since he founded it as the nonprofit organization under which he has undertaken the projects listed on the Home Page.
He is the author of The Odds Against Having Been Born - First Chapters of Nineteen Novels and Other Writings, and, with Diana Miale, of The Tempest - A Wilderness Ballet, A portfolio of photographs.
He received a Ph.D. in peace studies in from Union Institute, where he studied with two of America's foremost experts in nuclear arms control and with Margaret Mead. He has an M.A. in film from UCLA, and a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Chicago.
Walter is acitizen of the United States andCanada.
