Mme. Marcel Montpetit with three of her ten children. Mme. Montpetit's husband was a peasant organizer. He was murdered by a macoute death squad, leaving the family utterly destitute. With the help of lawyer Ely Oduquesne and the Peasant Movement of Papaye, Mme. Montpetit tried to prosecute the murderers. As a result, the family, like the lawyer, live in the shadow of death threats.
