Friendship Project
We maintain contact with, and provide aid
to, about thirty Haitians, primarily peasant families of death squad victims,
many of whom were heroes of the democratic resistance, and to others,
including a school that was bombed by Tonton Macoute terrorists, a computer
student, and a lawyer who has prosecuted Macoute terrorists in the countryside,
and who lives under a death threat.
